      D'Alessandro receives NBF Scholar Award 2018

      Original post at AABB.org - here Angelo D’Alessandro, PhD, will receive the title of National Blood Foundation Scholar during the NBF’s annual reception on Monday, Oct. 15, from 6-7:30 pm. The NBF chose to honor D’Alessandro to recognize the completion of the research study* he began with funds from a 2016 NBF early-career Scientific Research Grant. Between being awarded the grant in 2016 and receiving the title of Scholar this year, D’Alessandro has enjoyed a few successes:
